Pioneer Church Planting.
India is one of the largest democratic countries in the world with over 1.15 billion people and 4635 people groups. To reach the masses effectively and in fulfilling the “Great Commission” of the Lord – to make disciples from every nation - we have been led by God to train natives from all tribes and cultures of India. Mathew 24: 14; Mathew 28: 19-20; Rev. 5: 9-10.
The trained locals do not have to cross the barriers of language, culture and tradition. They can identify with the native people because they have the same cultural background, communicate in the same language and style and have the same standard of living as the people they minister to. In addition the cost of supporting these missionaries is minimal in comparison to what would be required to fund a missionary from the outside. It is as low as $50 to $100 a month in most areas. Thus using the natives to reach out to the villages is not only a practical but a cost effective method of spreading the Good News.
We are experiencing the mighty move of the Holy Spirit as God enables these natives to plant churches after a year or two of ministry. The trained native missionary has not only been fruitful in bringing souls to Christ but also in identifying and training other natives to become missionaries. The native missionary’s work is guided and carefully monitored by an overseer and the EGM mission director. God’s power is being manifested through his servants to bring a revolution to the mission fields of India.
